Q: Do I need a passport? Yes — St. Lucia is an international destination and a valid passport is required for all U.S. travelers. Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. If you need to apply or renew, do it as soon as possible.

Q: How do I book my room? Contact Nicole directly at nicole@tidalandrare.com or (904) 864-1966. She'll handle your reservation personally and make sure you're in the right room. Please book by [deadline date] to guarantee availability.

Q: Can I book my own room directly with the resort? We ask that all guests book through Nicole so your reservation is linked to our wedding group. Booking independently may result in a higher rate and won't be connected to our group.

Q: What airport should I fly into? Fly into Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) in Vieux Fort — it's just minutes from Coconut Bay. Avoid George F.L. Charles Airport (SLU) in Castries, which is significantly farther from the resort.

Q: Is the resort all-inclusive? Yes! Coconut Bay is fully all-inclusive — meals, drinks, most activities, and resort amenities are all covered in your room rate. Once you're there, you barely need to open your wallet.

Q: What should I wear to the wedding? Tropical formal. Think flowing maxi dresses, elegant sundresses, linen suits, and resort-appropriate attire. The ceremony is on the beach — wedges, sandals, or bare feet are all welcome.

Q: What is the difference between the two sides of the resort? Coconut Bay has a family-friendly side called CocoLand (Splash) for guests traveling with children under 18, and an adults-only side called Harmony for guests 18 and over. Nicole will make sure you're in the right place when you book.

Q: What is the weather like in St. Lucia in February? February is one of the best times to visit — warm, sunny, and low humidity. Expect daytime temperatures in the low-to-mid 80s°F with a low chance of rain. Peak Caribbean season for a reason.

Q: Can Nicole help me book island excursions? Absolutely — Nicole can arrange excursions and activities for you and your group during your stay. Just reach out when you book your room and she'll handle the details.

Q: What's the payment schedule?

  • Deposit, equal to one night's stay, due when you claim your room

  • Second payment, one more night's worth, due 90 days before we all arrive (November 19, 2027)

  • Final payment due 45 days out (January 3, 2028)

Q: What's the cancellation policy?

  • Fully refundable up until 90 days before arrival.

  • Cancel between 31–44 days out, and you'll be charged for two nights.

  • Cancel inside 30 days, and it's the full cost of the stay.

  • All cancellations have to be confirmed in writing by Coconut Bay's reservations team — please don't rely on a phone call alone.

  • A quick note: flights aren't part of the room block, and Nicole won't be booking those for you — that one's on you, friend! Just make sure to check your airline's cancellation and change policies before you book, so there are no surprises later.
